What are Portmeirion's opening hours?
Portmeirion is open to day visitors every day of the year except Christmas Day.
Hours of opening: 09:30 - 19:30.
Cafes stay open until 7.00pm during Easter, Whitsun and Summer school holidays.
Shops close at 5.30pm.
Do you have to pay to visit Portmeirion?
Day guests pay an admission charge to access to the village
Children under 4 do not pay an admission charge.
Entry is half price after 3.30pm.

Located on its own private peninsula on the coast of Snowdonia
in Wales. Postcode LL48 6ER.
Signposted from the A487 at Minffordd mid-way between
Penrhyndeudraeth and Porthmadog in Gwynedd, North Wales .

Do you have free entry at any times?
From 1st November to 1st March you can obtain a Winter Entry Voucher with free family admission. Mon - Fri and a nominal charge at weekends (still free for children). This can be downloaded from this website.
At any time of year if you have a two course lunch at Castell Deudraeth this includes a free entry voucher four use after lunch.
If you pre-book lunch at The Hotel Portmeirion this includes free entry to the village.
We have an annual pass now available at £20 for adults and £10 for children giving unlimited year round access.
Are dogs allowed into Portmeirion?
We regret that dogs are not allowed, other than guide dogs.
Is the village suitable for disabled visitors?
The village contains many slopes and steps which are features of the landscape.
Many of the rooms and cottages are only accessible up steps.
We have rooms adapted for disabled use. The Hotel has a lift to the first floor. We have wheelchairs available for loan and designated disabled parking areas.

Is there a car park nearby?
We have ample parking space right by the village entrance.
We do not charge a parking fee.
There are several disabled parking spaces close to the entrance.
If you have a dog we can help ensure your car is parked in a shady spot and provide drinking water.
All rooms and cottages in the village have a designated parking space as close as possible to the accommodation.
Who runs Portmeirion?
Portmeirion is managed on a 99 year full reparing lease by Portmeirion Limited, a company established by Clough Williams-Ellis in December 1926.
The company's shareholders are Clough Williams-Ellis' nine grand-children.
The company's Managing Director, Robin Llywelyn is a grandson of Clough Williams-Ellis.
Can I stay at Portmeirion?
Portmeirion has 53 hotel rooms (14 in the main hotel on the shore, 28 in village rooms and suites and 11 at Castell Deudraeth).
It also has 17 self-catering appartments and cottages in Portmeirion village and on the Portmeirion estate.
The Hotel is open all year round.
