Hotel Portmeirion Restaurant

Our 2 AA rosette hotel restaurant is fast gaining a reputation for its ambitious fare. Using predominantly regional produce, our award winning head chef Mark Threadgill, is constantly developing new dishes to wow our diners. And if his beautifully plated food isn't enough to impress you, wait until you see the views across the estuary.

The Hotel Portmeirion's dining room was built by Clough Williams-Ellis in 1931 as a curvilinear extension to his main hotel, overlooking the estuary. The Dining Room is open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner daily.

Our lunchtime menu is available Monday to Saturday from 12pm - 2.30pm. Booking is not required for less than six people, unlike our highly popular Sunday lunch menu, which includes three courses and free entry to the village for £25. Service begins at 12.30pm and ends at 3pm. Please call us on 01766 772 440 for a booking reference to give at the tollgate. All non-resident table reservations must be guaranteed by providing credit or debit card details. *

Whether you’re a fan of classic blends like Earl Grey or something a bit different like Ti Kuan Yin, our new tea emporium has it covered. Accompanied by a tray of tasty treats and stunning views across the Estuary, our elegant afternoon tea menu, from £20pp, is ‘dressed’ in Ted Baker’s uber trendy Rosie Lee collection. Service: 2.30pm - 5pm (Mon - Sat) 3.30pm - 5pm (Sun)

Enjoy a very special Full Afternoon Tea in the Hotel Portmeirion this Easter Weekend for only £20 per person, including a glass of pink prosecco on arrival. Tables available Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday from 2.30-4.30pm.

Contact the hotel on 01766 772440 or to check availability and make a reservation.

Fine dining is at the heart of what we do here at Hotel Portmeirion. Combining the creative Welsh food of Mark Threadgill with the interiors of Sir Terence Conran, this is very much a place to see as be seen. Open from 6.30pm to 9.00pm the Hotel offers both taster and table d'hôte menus.  All non-resident table reservations must be guaranteed by providing credit or debit card details. *

The Estuary Suite caters for lunch or dinner to both residents and non-residents. We can accommodate either 20 people at one large table or 30 on three tables of 10. The conservatory can be used for smaller private functions of up to 12 people at one round table. Our Conference and Banqueting team are on hand to assist with arrangements once you have made your booking.
