It’s the sixth anniversary of Portmeirion’s Food & Craft Fair, which has a stunning setting in the grounds of an Italianate village. The event stands out from other Christmas markets because most of the 120 stalls and chalets are offering local products (think Cwrw Llyn and the craftwork of Ann Catrin Evans). Enjoy live music, cookery demonstrations, workshops and a magical Christmas Grotto. New additions to the event this year include Christmas films and an elf dash - tickets available online below or you can purchase them on the day of visit

December 2,3,9,10,16,17,23: SANTA'S GROTTO
Take the woodland train to Santa's grotto every weekend in December. Train tickets are available every half hour from 11am until 4pm and cost £3 for both children and adults. A present for all children under 12 and a hot drink and mince pie for adults. Tickets exclude village entry.
December 9th: THE VAPORS
Portmeirion are pleased to announce that New Wave and Power Pop legends The Vapors will be performing here on December 9. Their first single was ‘Prisoners’ which was influenced by the cult 1960s TV series The Prisoner, and they followed this debut with what was to become their worldwide hit ‘Turning Japanese’. This was followed by other UK singles and two successful albums, New Clear Days and Magnets, before the band split in 1982. 2016 saw them reform for the first time since then, and for this special concert, they will be performing New Clear Days in full as well as a selection from Magnets and other live favourites. Tickets from £29.50
